| RIP Dirk Sundman |

For the past 15 years on the Sunday closest to Dia de los Muertos the Vampires Motorcycle Club has been hosting an event where the motorcycling community gathers together and hoists a glass in memory of all our friends and family who did not finish the journey home.
This year we lost a fellow motorcyclist during the event.
I was introduced to Dirk just this morning and was speaking with him at great length before the ride began, he was in good spirits and enjoying his day. He wanted to speak to me about another ride he was planning which he wanted some assistance on. He obviously had a lot of love for the sport, and intended to put back into the community. This is both a great loss to his wife and son, but also to the motorcycle and scooter community.
From the experiences of James (</a></b></a>![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) epim) and Dave at the scene of the accident, he did not experience any pain.

A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to buy Mariah something with diamonds. She already has a lot of nice Bill Wall and King Baby jewelry, but nothing appropriate for "that" finger.
I finally settled on this floral design ring from Chrome Hearts, some day it will be replaced by something more contemporary.

This is quite possibly the saddest picture of Mariah ever. Last night we went to the Boardwalk with a bunch of the Vamps. She tried to duck on the logride, but I needed a shield. She was conveniant, and I remained dry. :)
oh, and Jason looks like a Pimp in the background wearing Cindee's coat.

Someones trying to reach me by calling collect from Douglas County Jail, but they got disconnected before I got the payment procedure authorized.
I called the Jail, and gave them every likely name I could figure out that might be held there, no avail. Anyone missing? |

| Free Benefit for James Cornell at We All Ride. |

James Cornell, a member of the Santa Cruz Vampires MC and the SFMC, rides monkey in sidecar races in the US. His team (Driver Doug Dano and James) placed 1st in the NW US SRA races, 2nd overall in North America and was invited to compete in the Isle of Man TT race this year. They hoped to be the first US sidecar team to complete this illustrious race.
They crashed early in practices, apparently opting to hit a stone wall rather than take out another rig. Both Doug and James were injured. Doug is well on the road to recovery. James is still in a coma in a hospital on the Isle of Man. James has significant expenses above and beyond what insurance will cover and we want your help to help James.
We all Ride is having it's third annual bash this Saturday, and they are donating all food proceeds towards the James Cornell Recovery Fund.

Just got word that Mohawk John was killed on his bike in San Francisco this morning. Really sucks, I just saw him for the first time in months last Thursday and we talked about how we needed to get Jen on the Nighthawk that's sitting in my backyard. I had it in my to do list for this weekend. Lots of tragedy going around lately. I've stopped updating on James's condition outside of a few close friends of his not in the M.C. scene that I'm keeping in contact with. Public updates can be found at Dawgpoundracing.com |

Any hour now they should be waking James up from his induced coma. The doctors in Liverpool decided from the information shown on the brain scans that surgery is not the best option, so they want to wake him up and see how he responds. From what's been described to me, they sounded very hopeful when explaining this plan of action. |

| James Cornell updates |

Well, the phone calls are getting a bit rough, so I'm trying to get updates here as often as possible. For those of you who aren't aware, James and Doug's sidecar rig crashed at the Isle of Man. Dough is in stable condition. James is still in critical condition. He is suffering from brain aneurysms and they currently have him in an induced coma.
Earlier today they got some Scans done. The tone from the doctors seems to be much more hopefull today. They are currently sending his scans to their colleagues in Liverpool, at which time they will decide if they an operate or not. If they decide to operate they may fly him to Liverpool for the procedure. |
